We can be with you from start to finish, or you can choose to work with us only in select specialisms. We know you have an existing network of suppliers you love to work with, so unlike many agencies we don’t request full project exclusivity. Instead, you’re free to build a project team around your relationships, preferences and needs.

Our team spends a lot of time getting to know you and your project, so we can support you in the best way possible. It’s a relationship built on trust, support and our care for your venue. Your guests are your priority, so they’re our priority too.

How We Work

It all begins with a site visit. Here we’ll come out to meet you and discuss what you have in mind. Together we’ll scope out a project and which services you’d be interested in. We’ll also discuss budget and timescales, so we’re all on the same page.

After our meeting, our team will review what we discussed and come up with a proposal. This will include a plan, ideas and a quote for our involvement in the project. At this stage we’ll also start to suggest or line up a project team.

When it’s time for the project to kickoff, we’ll be onsite with you to make sure things go smoothly. How involved we are from now on depends on your wishes - for some clients we run full project management, for others we act only as suppliers.

Meet Your Procurement Specialist, Karen Sheflin

Four Counties Interiors was founded in 2010 by seasoned procurement and hotel industry expert, Karen Sheflin.

Karen’s venture into the procurement industry started when she began a successful contract division within a regional hotel group. From here, she started her own venture as a procurement agent and very quickly built up a client base in the region. Early clients included Fifteen restaurant in Cornwall, Cofton Country Holidays in Dawlish, and Taylors in Tavistock.

With lots of happy, loyal clients and a over a decade of experience behind her, Karen is highly sought after as a procurement and purchasing specialist. She has worked on award-winning projects, including the furniture supply for Gaia Spa.
